El Debarge

If You've never heard of him, he's Michael's ex brother in law. He's also the lead in that 80's group "Debarge" very similar to the Jacksons. El's brother James Debarge was married to Janet (Mike's sister) back in like 1984.... Here's a youtube video of El. Let me know your thoughts......

True, True..... I think Imma use him in some of my stories, kind of like a love triangle type thing with him, Michael, and me. That's why I made this post to get opinions on him.

I've always loved Prince because a lot of the artists that I love now my grandma listened to them and that's how I know them like prince and Michael and Debarge, and Future Baby mama, that new song? I heard it on the radio yesterday...I like it! My fave prince songs are Little Red Corvette, purple rain, sister, alphabet street, when doves cry, thieves in the temple, musicology, life of da party, kiss, adore, and raspberry beret. Oh and cream!!! I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!

I love like all his songs but I just never knew for the longest time who sang it because it would be on the radio or somebody djing it and i dont catch the name. i didnt know until i was like 9 maybe? but now im in love with all of them but i just found out tha backstory of el debarge recently but i always loved rythm of the night (i cant spell lol)

I know when he made his little comeback. I was watching the BET Awards and here he come singing all those hits and his latest Second Chance. I also like his Lay with You from his latest cd but i heard the poor guy relapsed and this radio dj said he needs a third chance. Its sad how some people really suck at making things seem better

Sorry for being a sore thumb but I never really liked anything to do with the DeBarge Family I thought they were overrated and that El was just a cheap knock-off Michael... soft voice, jehri curls.... He just dodesnt suit my fancy..... sorry.... has any one heard that Omer Bhatti may not be Mikey's son but Janets son?!

Well I respect your opinion on him but think they just happened to be like Mike and The Jacksons. Think about it this way: if we didn't have MJ and the 5 we wouldn't look at the talented Debarge...maybe. But I think they had great party songs and serenades for the 80s. And as for that Omer Bhatti shit I dont believe nothing about it cuz 4 1: his mama out 4 money sayin he is MJ's secret son, 2 reversing it and saying its Janet's. Like real talk this dude aint no Jackson and in a way its calling Janet a whore and baby mama right after saying MJ is tha baby daddy. And thats just nasty that you would bring a sister and brother in to a fam 4 some dude because lots of people can link it saying 'MJ had a son with his sister'.
